What solar bundles does Solair offer?

Three. SunSeeker is 12 panels with a GoodWe 5kW inverter, grid tied with a smart meter. The Family Solar Bundle is 18 panels with a GoodWe 6kW inverter. The Sun Worshipper is 22 panels with a Sigenergy 6kW single phase hybrid inverter, an 8kWh Sigenergy battery and a Sigen Gateway. All three are customizable to suit your needs, and pricing is available upon inquiry.

Custom system design — no cookie-cutters — based on your roof, sunlight and load profile. Premium Tier-1 panels and high-efficiency inverters for better lifetime yield. Optional batteries and hot-water diversion to maximise self-consumption. Clean cabling and low-profile mounting for a neat, architect-friendly finish. And local support, monitoring and maintenance for total peace of mind.

Product plus performance guarantees ensure at least 84% output after twenty-five years. After commissioning we demonstrate the monitoring apps and provide a complimentary twelve-month health check. Ongoing plans cover panel cleaning, firmware updates and generation reports.

Rails are anchored to rafters, penetrations are flashed, cables run in UV-rated conduit and switchboards are upgraded with surge protection. All installations comply with the AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules, assessed on site.

Standard installation pricing is based on a corrugated iron roof. Other roofing types — tile, decramastic, membrane — may involve additional labour or mounting system costs. Standard pricing also allows a maximum cable run of 5 metres from the switchboard to the inverter or battery; additional cabling, or a switchboard that doesn’t meet current safety standards, may incur costs to upgrade the setup.

Complex angles or shading are handled with custom design. We model production, select micro-inverters or optimisers, and program hot water pumps as thermal storage to boost consumption.

Yes — offices, warehouses, retail, hospitality, education and light industry, on roof, carport or ground-mount. We analyse your load profile, operating hours, tariffs and roof structures to right-size a system, and manage the project end-to-end including H&S, consents, structural sign-off and grid approvals.

Yes. Most major New Zealand banks offer low or zero-interest green loans for solar panels and batteries. Rates, limits and terms vary by lender, so check the current offer with your own bank. You borrow through your own bank and we invoice as normal, so the loan sits alongside your existing lending rather than being a finance product from us. We can provide the quote and system specification your bank will ask for.

Yes. SEANZ — the Sustainable Energy Association of New Zealand — is the industry body for solar and battery installers, and its approved installer programme requires members to meet a code of conduct covering system design, workmanship, consumer information and after-sales support. Choosing a SEANZ approved installer means your system is designed and signed off to an industry standard, not just to the minimum electrical code.
